The memorandum assumes that the collaboration options in the areas of air defences, reconnaissance, UAV’s, naval programmes, C4ISR, military vehicles, smart weapons, space programmes, air traffic management and cyber-security are going to be jointly considered.
As we were informed by both Parties, signing a letter of intent also creates a variety of new prospects of collaboration for Thales and the Polish Armament Group. Thales is ready to realize a full or significant transfer of technology for the Polish Armament Group. The French also declare that they would support the Poles in the process of obtaining the required authorizations, indispensable in implementation of export and reexport operations pertaining to products and systems created as a result of collaboration.
President of the PGZ S.A.’s Management Board, Arkadiusz Siwko, stated that signing the letter of intent with Thales is yet another element of implementation of the undertaken strategy, assuming that strategic partnerships and technology transfer are going to be the main developmental focus for the company. Such memorandums are going to result in delivery of key capabilities defined by the Technological Modernization Plan on one hand, and implementation of innovative projects by the PGZ Group companies on the other.
