During the gala, representatives of the company have showcased the history and heritage of PCO, while the employees have been presented with Golden and Silver Crosses and Golden and Silver Medals for their long term service, and Golden, Silver and Bronze medals for their contributions to national security. 16 honorary orders, “Distinguished for PCO S.A” have also been presented.
The Gala was also attended by a representative of the Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship Office, who presented the President of the PCO S.A company with the Pro Masovia award, for his contributions made to the development of the region.
PCO S.A. would not be as successful, and it would not establish a strong position within the market without any strategic plan, investments made in the field of thermal imagery and research and development works. The 40th anniversary constitutes a result of continuous development of know-how and technologies, implemented by the company in the field of design and manufacturing of innovative products, with the use of laser, night vision and thermal vision technologies.
The 40th Anniversary event was complemented by an exhibition covering the most important products manufactured by the company dedicated for the individual troops, as well as the military vehicles. The invited guests could get acquainted with the showcased products inventory. The group included Jarosław Brysiewicz – Deputy Chief of the National Security Bureau, Brig. general Jarosław Kraszewski – Director of the Armed Forces Competency Department at the National Security Bureau, Brig. general Adam Duda – Head of the Armament Inspectorate of the Polish Ministry of Defence, representatives of the Polish Ministry of Defence and the Army, General Mirosław Różanski – General Commander of the Armed Forces, Arkadiusz Siwko – President of the Board of the PGZ S.A., Division General Prof. Zygmunt Mierczyk, Dr. Sc. hab. eng., Rector and Commander of the Military University of Technology, Professor Jan Szmidt Dr. Sc. hab, eng., Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, along with numerous representatives of research and scientific institutes and defence industry companies.
PCO S.A. has been established, on the basis of a ministerial arrangement made on 23rd April 1976. Since then, the company has been supplying optronic devices for the Army and for the uniformed services. Within the framework of consolidation of the domestic defence industry, PCO S.A became a part of the Polish Armament Group, back in 2014.
